Aber Falls is a spectacular waterfall, with a height of 37m, reached via a scenic walk. Drive 16 miles (37 min) to the car park, then take a gentle 30 min walk to reach the falls. To reward your efforts, you could also visit the nearby Aber Falls whiskey distillery, one of only 4 in Wales.
Arguably the grandest, and certainly the largest of the North Wales castles, Caernarfon Castle (28 min drive, 40 miles) is well worth a visit when you are in the area.
